Yes catfish do have teeth. They can be sharp. Don t worry catfish don t actually have incisor teeth like sharks or pike. Even if you put your fingers into a catfish mouth it will not bite them.

Keep in mind that this is a general statement and. This is because their teeth are caved inwards hence tricky for them to bite someone. Catfish teeth might not. The catfish bit can hurt your skin but it cannot cause any severe injuries that require medical attention.

Most large predators will have a row of teeth along the front and side of their jaw. Catfish do not have teeth in the traditional sense.
